Haven't got the time or energy to read... I've got you covered.
Simply press play sit back and relax without spiralling
👇
Let’s start with a loaded question:
How many conversations have you had in your head today? 🤔🌀
Just ballpark it. Seven? Fourteen? All of them?
If you’re anything like me... and if you’re here, odds are we’re mentally spiraling soulmates... you’ve got a brain like that one co-worker who keeps scheduling unnecessary meetings. 📅
But the meetings are imaginary, the feedback is unsolicited, and the agenda is always:
“Here’s what you did wrong in 2013.” 😵💫
Welcome to the overthinker’s inner sanctum!
Where we replay things no one remembers, rehearse conversations that will never happen, and assign catastrophic meaning to a single ellipsis in a text message. 😬📱
Overthinking isn’t just “thinking too much.” That’s way too basic.
Overthinking is:
🔍 Analyzing a 2-word reply like it’s Shakespeare.
⏪ Replaying an awkward moment until you’re emotionally bloated.
🐱💻 Spiraling from “They didn’t wave at me” to “I’m unlovable and will die alone with a passive-aggressive cat.”
It’s like emotional math gymnastics:
1 tiny interaction × 50 imagined interpretations = 1 sleepless night. 🌙💥
Our brains are very extra. But they mean well. 💫
Look, your mind is trying to keep you safe. 🧠❤️
It thinks:
“If I anticipate every possible disaster, I’ll avoid pain.”
A+ for effort. F for chill. 😅
Overthinking is just your nervous system hitting the panic button 🚨 because someone took too long to reply “ok cool.”
But here’s the truth:
💡 You are not broken.
💡 Your brain is just bad at boundaries.
💡 And weirdly talented at creating fictional sagas. 🎬
You’re not flawed - you’re imaginative. You just need to redirect the chaos.
(No glittery nonsense. Just real stuff.)
Step 1: Catch the Spiral 🕵️♀️
When it starts, don’t fight it. Just notice it.
“Oh hey, I’m catastrophizing again. Cute.” 😏
If you can name it, you can tame it.
Maybe even laugh at it.
Step 2: Channel It Somewhere Safe 📝
Grab your journal. Open your Notes app.
Talk to your dog. 🐶
Just don’t leave it rattling around in your skull.
Example Thought Dump:
“They haven’t replied. I think they hate me. Also I forgot to send that email. I’m probably already unemployed in some alternate timeline.” 😵💫📉
Congratulations. That’s ✨content✨.
Step 3: Add Humor 😂
Humor is emotional CPR.
Yes, you spiralled because your boss said “sure” with no exclamation mark.
And yes, that’s funny.
If you can laugh at your own mental drama, you take its power away.
Laughter = emotional judo.
Don’t villainize your mind. Parent it.
Picture your thoughts as a dramatic toddler in a tiara, waving a glittery baton. 👶✨
Declaring that life is ruined because someone didn’t like your Instagram story. 🙄
Would you scream back? No.
You’d say:
“Sweetheart. Sit down. Have a juice box. We are not spiraling over a ‘k’ text today.” 🧃💅
That’s the vibe.
✨ Compassionate containment. ✨
🧠 “Is this useful or just noisy?”
Ask it. Often. Especially at 3am.
🧠 Mind Dump Journalling
Get it all out. Raw. Messy. No filter. No shame.
🧠 Name the Thought Character
Mine’s Brenda. She’s dramatic, loud, and deeply concerned about emails from 2019.
🧠 Turn It Into Content
Someone out there needs your spiral. They’ll feel less alone. Boom: masterpiece. 🎤
Overthinking isn’t a curse.
It’s your brain doing the absolute most to protect you.
You’re not “too much.”
You’re just... layered. Complex. Emotionally spicy. 🌶️
And if you’ve made it this far, I hope this did at least one of the following:
✅ Made you feel 5% lighter
✅ Made you laugh at your own chaos
✅ Reminded you that your brain is a little messy but not wrong
If none of that landed? I’ll overthink it later. Promise. 💅
Drop a comment.
DM me.
Scream into the void and tag me. 📣🌌
Let’s normalize the messy mental monologue...
because your spirals are valid, relatable, and weirdly stylish.
